Our Commitment
The goal of the Redmond Elementary PTSA is to support the students, their families, and the teachers and staff of our school through:
- school and community support services;
- curriculum enrichment opportunities; and
- facilitating teacher, student, family, and community communication.
What we do...
The Redmond Elementary PTSA is striving to provide a wide range of experiences to keep students excited about learning and school. Here are just a few examples:
- Continuing our monthly enrichment themes
- Focusing on science through ongoing science programs and a Science Fair in February
- Providing artistic outlets through the Reflections program and a full month focused on the arts in January
- A geography program called The Passport Club
- Offering opportunities for students who would like to challenge themselves more academically such as the Math Olympiad program
- Encouraging our kids to get out and get active, culminating in the spring Hawk Walk and Run.
To do all this, we need your help.

and see how you can chip in. Some of the ongoing programs are so
effortless, it would be a waste not to participate! Every penny counts.

| Volunteer! | Any help is much appreciated. Take
a look at the volunteer
opportunities page for activities or events that interest
you. Or fill out the Volunteer
Sign-Up form and send it to school with your child to let us
know what you would like to do. Currently the PTSA Nominating Committee is looking for volunteers to fill the open 2008/2009 PTSA Board and Chair positions. This is your chance to get involved! Please contact Laura ASAP, if you would like to fill one of the remaining open positions. And no, you don't have to be the chair if you don't want. |
