Science Lunch Club
Amateur scientists from your Redmond Elementary PTSA give presentations during lunch recess several times a year.
The objective of these presentations is:
- to get students energized about science;
- to let them know that science is fun;
- to encourage them to ask questions about the world around them; and
- to encourage them to enter the Science Fair to show their own explorations into science.
All students are invited to this program that happens during recess right after lunch!
Currently the Redmond Elementary PTSA is looking for a chairperson to spearhead this program during the 2009-2010 school year. If you feel a passion for science and would like to share your knowledge with an interested young audience, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@redmondelptsa.org.
