Volunteering

Redmond Elementary PTSA has many projects and activities which exist only because of our strong tradition of volunteering. Your skills, time, and enthusiasm are needed and appreciated and we encourage participation and involvement from everyone.

Each year, the Redmond Elementary PTSA recognizes volunteers who have given outstanding service to our children and school community through a number of Service Awards.

There are lots of volunteer opportunities available, and one will fit your life! You have the ability to make a difference in your child's education and the power to enrich the education of every child at Redmond Elementary. Start making a difference today and contact our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@redmondelptsa.org OR fill out the Volunteer Sign-up Sheet and send it to school with your child. Thank you for your support!

Note: Volunteers must also complete the Lake Washington School District Volunteer Screening paperwork every two years. Conveniently, the volunteer application can also be filed online on the LWSD website.

Your Volunteer Time is Money

Many local companies recognize volunteer time through the donation of cash grants to non-profits where their employees volunteer. This means that for each hour of your volunteer time, your employer may donate money to the Redmond Elementary PTSA (or Redmond Elementary or Lunch Buddy Program). Listed below are known companies who participate in this type of program, with a link about their program:

If you do not see your employer listed and they participate in this type of program, please notify us at info@redmondelptsa.org. Check with your human resources department for more information about your employer's program.

If you work for one of these companies, or know of another company that donates for volunteer hours, consider donating your volunteer time to the PTSA or school!
