Birthday Book Club
Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, honoring an achievement or celebrating another holiday, joining the “Birthday” Book Club is a great way to create a lasting memory for your family at Redmond Elementary and provide our library with exciting new books.
Here’s how it works:
- 1. To see a wish list of great books for the Library go to http://www.amazon.com/?tag=redmonelemen-20. (amazon.com works, too, but this way part of the money you spend will be donated back to Redmond Elementary—a double gift.),
- 2. Choose “Gifts and Wish Lists.”
- 3. Type in Carol A. Matheson (our Librarian’s name) or cmatheson@lwsd.org.
- 4. The Redmond Elementary Library wish list will come up. There is a selection of age levels, subjects, and cost to hopefully fit every need.
- 5. Once you choose a book, you can purchase it through amazon.com or through a local bookstore.
- 6. Bring the book and the completed Birthday Book Club form to Mrs. Matheson.
- 7. Mrs. Matheson will then process it, add the bookplate and present it to your child during their Library class so they can be the first student it check it out if they’d like.
